Fastidiously blending organic and synthetic elements, James Joshua Otto takes a keen interest in exploring richness of texture, depth of emotion, and simplicity of expression.

His music is often led by the piano, providing a harmonic impetus that drives much of his work. Thanks to his classical training and eye for detail, James has enjoyed frequent collaborations with a number of musicians both within the UK and internationally, providing input as a composer, performer, and orchestrator.
